1. Firstly we need to open our SMS app and we need type “START” Message and need to send it to 1909.
2. After Sending the sms to that number , you will get some list of categories, such as banking,hospitality.
3. You will get unique Code for Each Option.
4. You need to respond with the code to the certain category of calls you need to block in your android device.
5. After Selecting the certain category, you will get a confirmation message and the DND service will be active within 24 hours on ur device.
6. This service helps us by blocking unsollicited commercial calls from third party and these service will not block useful calls from banking or network service providers. This service only blocks unwanted calls.
ACTIVATE DND SERVICES BY TELECOM OPERATORS:
Now you can activate the DND services directly by your telecom provider:
JIO: Go to the My jio app > Settings > Service Settings> Do not disturb. And now select the categories that you want to block.
AIRTEL: You need to visit airtel.in/airtel-dnd. and now enter your mobile number and then otp , now you need to select the categories that you want to block .
